Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, this afternoon (February 18), the traffic volume on the Phap Van - Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway increased sharply, especially in the section from km182 to Ninh Binh.
According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Thang - Head of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security), the area from km274 towards Thanh Hoa to km386 and vice versa is experiencing drizzle, slippery road surface, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.
Functional forces recommend that vehicle drivers absolutely do not enter the emergency lane, proactively reduce speed, maintain a safe distance and comply with lane separation and traffic diversion instructions. A smart camera system has been installed on the route, and all violations will be recorded for remote fines.
To ensure smooth traffic, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3 has arranged 15 patrol motorbikes along the Phap Van - Cao Bo - Mai Son - National Highway 45 - Nghi Son route to promptly handle accidents and resolve congestion.
Task forces used loudspeakers to remind drivers to comply with speed limits, keep a distance, and quickly support vehicles encountering problems to avoid prolonged congestion.
In addition to patrol duties, mobile teams are always ready to support people when incidents occur on the road or guide vehicles carrying emergency aid.
From Km274 to Km386 on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 - Nghi Son expressway section, the traffic police force has also arranged 400 points to place warning hats (each point has 2 warning hats). When vehicles encounter problems, drivers can take them out to use.
