On March 29, in Cam Ranh City, Ship 420 of the Naval Region 4 Command handed over fisherman Dang Van Cong (born in 1978, residing in Tam Quang Commune, Nui Thanh District, Quang Nam) - who had an accident while fishing at sea - to his family and local authorities.
Fisherman Dang Van Cong is a crew member on fishing boat QNa 90444 TS, fishing for squid.
On March 16, while fishing, Mr. Cong slipped, fell, hit his head, neck, shoulders to a hard foundation and lost consciousness.
Immediately afterwards, the fishing boat took him to Song Tu Tay Island, Truong Sa archipelago for treatment.
On March 21, while patrolling the Da Nam island area, Ship 420 received orders from mobile superiors to pick up fishermen in distress.
On March 26, the ship safely docked in Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa province, bringing Mr. Cong to the mainland to continue monitoring his health.
