Accordingly, the project starts at the intersection with Nghi Tam Street, Tay Ho District; the end point is at the intersection with TC13 Axis, Dong Anh District, with a total length of about 3km.
Regarding the classification, Tu Lien Bridge is a special-grade project; the approach road is the main urban axis road. The cross-section of the road is divided into 2 sections.
Tu Lien Bridge has a typical cross-section of 43-44m (including 6 lanes for motor vehicles and mixed lanes, separated, sidewalks...).
The road south of the bridge has a typical cross-section of 48m (including an approach bridge in the middle, a parallel urban service road and sidewalks on both sides of the road).
The road north of the bridge has a typical cross-section of 60m (determined in the plan dossier, the location of the road connecting Tu Lien bridge to the new National Highway 3, at a scale of 1/500 approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in Decision No. 6381/QD-UBND dated December 11, 2024).
The main intersection at both ends of the bridge with the axes along the Red River TC5 and TC13 is an intersection at different degrees. The intersection of the road leading to the bridge with Nghi Tam Street is a different level intersection (the road leading to Tu Lien Bridge goes up high combined with the roundabout at the intersection and the approach bridge connecting the Nghi Tam dike), the service road intersects with the existing dike road.
Expanding the Huu Hong dike border gate at the intersection in accordance with the cross-section scale of the bridgehead road, ensuring traffic connection (specifically determined during the investment project establishment process).
The intersection with other level crossings is the intersection with a preliminary determination certificate according to approved zoning plans, which will be studied and supplemented, and accurately determined during the process of establishing investment projects to build the route and other level crossings approved by competent authorities.
