At noon on September 28, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of Gia Vien Ward People's Committee confirmed that a tree had just broken and fallen in the area, injuring a child.
The incident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. the same day at Lane 243 Lach Tray, Gia Vien Ward. A large royal poinciana tree broke and fell across the road, causing a child to break his arm and was taken to the emergency room in time. At the time of the incident, there was rain and strong winds. The location of the broken tree shows signs of rot and trunk brokiness.
The 114 Command Information Center mobilized 1 rescue vehicle of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 with forces and vehicles to quickly move to the scene.
Accordingly, officers and soldiers of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 deployed the sawing of fallen trees into many sections; at the same time, coordinated with the People's Committee and Gia Vien Ward Police to clean up, clear obstacles, support people and vehicles to travel safely.
Currently, the case is being handled by the authorities in coordination.
