On the afternoon of May 15, at the headquarters of the People's Court (TAND) of Quang Tri province, the Supreme People's Court held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to transfer and appoint the Chief Justice of the People's Court of Quang Tri province for Mr. Vu Van Minh.
According to the announced decision, Mr. Vu Van Minh - Chief Justice of Hue City People's Court - was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Chief Justice of Quang Tri Provincial People's Court for a term of 5 years.
Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hai Tram said that the transfer and appointment is to implement the Party's policy on arranging Chief Justices of Provincial People's Courts who are not local people, creating conditions for cadres to promote their capacity and practical experience in the new working environment.
Leaders of the Supreme People's Court assessed Mr. Vu Van Minh as a well-trained official with firm political bravery and many years of experience in the court sector. During his time as Chief Justice of Hue City People's Court, Mr. Minh and the unit collective successfully completed the assigned tasks.
The Supreme People's Court requested the new Chief Justice of the People's Court of Quang Tri province to soon approach work, improve the quality of resolving and adjudicating all types of cases; strengthen discipline and public service order, promote digital transformation and apply information technology in judicial activities.
In addition, leaders of the Supreme People's Court also requested to strengthen coordination with judicial agencies, proactively advise on resolving disputes and lawsuits, and effectively organize online court sessions, contributing to serving local socio-economic development.
Accepting the new task, Mr. Vu Van Minh affirmed that he will continue to train, maintain moral qualities, promote the spirit of responsibility, and work with the collective of the People's Courts at two levels of Quang Tri province to build a professional and modern judicial system, meeting the requirements in the new period.
