Big fire at Song Cong Industrial Park, Thai Nguyen

Thai Nguyen - A fire broke out at the factory of WIHA Vietnam Co., Ltd. (in Song Cong I Industrial Park).

On the morning of November 8, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bach Quang Ward (Song Cong City) confirmed that the fire broke out at 8:00 a.m. the same day. Functional forces were present at the scene to put out the fire.

Initial information, during the working process, workers at the pliers factory of Wiha Vietnam Co., Ltd. heard a loud explosion on the roof and flames coming out from this area. After that, the fire burned fiercely and spread very quickly.

At the time of the incident, there were about 200 workers in the factory. When the fire was discovered, the workers in the factory evacuated to the safe area outside the gate. The fire did not cause any human casualties.

Authorities and dozens of fire trucks are being mobilized to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas.
