Big fire at pig farm in Binh Khe, Quang Ninh

    Quang Ninh - At about 12:10 on October 28, a fire broke out at a pig farm in Trung Luong area, Binh Khe ward.

    According to initial damage statistics from the authorities, the fire killed 10 pigs and burned many pigs; part of the barn and equipment were damaged. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.

    At the time of the fire, there were about 700 pigs in the farm.

    Immediately after discovering the fire, local forces including local authorities, ward police, neighborhood police and people urgently organized fire fighting.

    The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of Quang Ninh province then dispatched specialized vehicles to the scene to coordinate in extinguishing the fire.

    At around 12:40, the fire was controlled and not allowed to spread to other cages.

    Immediately after the incident, leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Binh Khe Ward directly went to the scene to direct the work to overcome the consequences, mobilizing police, military and people to support the family in collecting and transporting the remaining pigs.

    Currently, the authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
