Quang Ngai - A motel fire in the Ly Son special zone caused many personal papers, phones, laptops... to be completely burned, estimated damage of 115 million VND.

On the morning of May 14, An Binh Border Guard Station had an initial report on the Minh Vy guesthouse fire.

Accordingly, at about 7:45 pm on May 13, a large fire occurred at Minh Vy guesthouse owned by Mr. Vo Minh Quang and Mrs. Bui Thi Danh, in Zone 3, Bac An Binh village, Ly Son special zone.

When the fire was discovered, the Border Guard force of An Binh Border Guard Station, militia and people were present in time. However, due to the excessive level of fire and the lack of fire fighting equipment and vehicles, the fire could not be controlled. By 8:15 pm on the same day, the fire gradually subsided and was completely extinguished by spraying water.

The cause of the fire was determined to be a short circuit in the electrical system, causing all 2 rooms (made of wood, aluminum glass, water coconut leaf roof) along with supplies and decorative tools in the room to be burned down. Estimated damage is about 200 million VND.

The fire also damaged all items, laptops, phones, cameras, personal papers, cash and personal belongings of 5 tourists staying here. Estimated damage is about 115 million VND.

Representatives of the village government, border guards of An Binh Border Guard Station and militia were on duty during and after the fire, promptly visiting and encouraging the guesthouse owner's family and tourists, and at the same time reporting the incident to the Ly Son special zone and functional agencies to have measures to support and overcome the consequences.
