Initial information, at 7:42 am on May 17, Linh Xuan Ward Police received a fire report that occurred at a house in Linh Xuan ward.
The Ward Police force immediately arrived at the scene, closely coordinating with the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Ho Chi Minh City Police and grassroots security forces to deploy fire fighting plans and isolate the fire to prevent it from spreading. After rescue efforts, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.
However, during the process of approaching the scene and checking inside the house, functional forces discovered a male victim who had died.
Currently, the cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are still being determined.
