On April 7, Binh Duong General Hospital is actively treating victims in the factory fire in Vinh Tan ward.
There are 3 burn patients who have been admitted to the emergency room at Binh Duong General Hospital, including: Mr. N.V.S (born in 1991, from Can Tho city); Mr. T.T. T (born in 2002, from Can Tho city) and Ms. V.T. M (born in 1986, from Nghe An).
In which, Mr. T.T. T suffered burns to the head, face, forearms, 2 sides of the hips, back, and calves. The burn area is about 30%.
Mr. N.V.S suffered burns to both forearms and both legs. The burn area is about 15%. The two victims are currently being actively treated at the General Surgery Department of Binh Duong General Hospital.
Ms. V.T. M was more seriously injured, the victim suffered burns to the head, face, arms, legs, and back. Binh Duong General Hospital transferred patient V.T. M to Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) for treatment.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported on a fire that occurred at about 3:15 pm on April 6 at a sawdust processing factory on Vinh Tan 34 street, group 03, neighborhood 2, Vinh Tan ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The fire caused the above 3 people to be burned and hospitalized for emergency treatment.
By about 4 pm on the same day, functional forces had controlled the fire. At the scene, the burned workshop specializing in producing sawdust was about 700m2. The corrugated iron roof of the workshop collapsed, and many raw materials and machinery were burned.
Currently, the police agency is investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire.
