On the evening of November 13, Dien Lam Commune Police coordinated with relevant units to conduct a crime scene investigation and take statements from drivers to clarify the cause of the car fire on the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway.
Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 13, a truck with license plate 50H-23XXX was traveling from South to North, through Dien Lam commune, Khanh Hoa province, when it suddenly caught fire.
Driver Nguyen Ngoc Tien (born in 1990, residing in Quang Tien commune, Dak Lak province) was driving to the above road when he discovered black smoke appearing from the truck's trunk.
Immediately afterwards, the driver stepped into the emergency lane and promptly left the cabin before the fire broke out, engulfing the entire cargo box.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police directed the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 3 to mobilize specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene.
After that, the fire fighting force completely controlled the fire after a few minutes. On the side of the traffic police force, they also quickly blocked a lane on the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway, remotely diverting traffic, ensuring safety for other vehicles traveling through the above area.
It is known that the burned truck belonged to Van Loi Transport Company Limited (Ho Chi Minh City) which specializes in transporting letters and newspapers. The fire caused almost all of the goods (pupers, newspapers, printed documents) inside the truck to be completely burned down.
Recently, a truck carrying goods for delivery also caught fire on National Highway 1, passing through Dai Lanh Commune, Khanh Hoa Province. The initial cause was determined to be self-immolation of the equipment and components of the cargo in the cargo box.
