On April 13, Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that a tractor-trailer fire had just occurred on National Highway 12A, passing through Thanh Long village.
At about 7:30 pm on the same day, at Km110+100 National Highway 12A, a semi-trailer with foreign license plate UN 0641, pulling trailer UN 2463 driven by Mr. N.V.N (born in 1981, residing in Phuc Trach commune, Ha Tinh province), traveling in the direction from Cha Lo International Border Gate to Khe Ve, suddenly caught fire fiercely.
Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities, along with police, military and Fire and Rescue Police of Quang Tri province, quickly arrived at the scene, mobilizing 2 vehicles to deploy firefighting.
However, due to dry weather, the fire spread quickly, causing many difficulties for firefighting work.
By about 9 pm on the same day, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished. The incident did not cause any casualties.
According to initial records, the car cabin was completely burned down. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
