Immediately afterwards, people quickly reported to Cau Bong Border Control Station for rescue support.
Upon receiving the news, Cau Bong Border Guard Station immediately dispatched a TT 33-10-07 rescue canoe with 10 officers and soldiers directly commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Chinh - Station Leader.
After that, the unit mobilized another vehicle of Mr. Phan Tan Phat (born in 1982, residing in Bac Nha Trang ward) to coordinate with the police force, the military of Bac Nha Trang ward and the people to search within a distance of about 500m around the bridge area.

At around 11pm the same day, the rescue team discovered the young man roaming at the foot of the bridge and quickly approached, bringing the victim to shore safely.
After that, the unit's medical team initially checked his health and determined that the person being rescued was Mr. D.V.N.Ch (born in 1988, residing in Tay Nha Trang ward).
Currently, Mr. Ch's health, spirit and mentality are stable. Currently, Cau Bong Border Guard Station has handed over Mr. D.V.N.Ch to his family for care.
