Dak Lak - The People's Committees of districts are still facing difficulties in reviewing and synthesizing documents before starting to operate the two-level government.

On June 7, many district-level authorities in Dak Lak province are still making efforts to review, synthesize, compile statistics, and classify documents to hand over to competent authorities according to the instructions of the Department of Home Affairs.

Recorded in practice at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Cu M'Gar district, in recent weeks, officers and employees of the specialized departments of the People's Committee of the district have worked overtime to synthesize documents in time.

There were times when they had to work from morning to late at night to complete their assigned tasks.

Mr. Vu Hong Nhat - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu M'Gar district said: "There are quite a few cadres and employees who are specialized in reviewing and synthesizing the district's records, making it difficult to complete a large amount of work in a short time.

Therefore, the district had to hire more specialized outside staff to support. Continuously, for the past 2 months, they have worked tirelessly to help the district hand over all documents and records before implementing the two-level government".

Meanwhile, Nguyen Duc Thao - Permanent Vice Chairman of M'Drak District People's Committee said: "Cadres and staff of specialized departments under the District People's Committee are continuing to review records, documents, and classify specifically according to the instructions of the Department of Home Affairs, to avoid loss or damage".

According to Mr. Thao, the most important thing when reviewing and synthesizing documents is to pay attention to confidential and confidential documents to protect State secrets. This is a very important task that needs to be done carefully.

Faced with the huge workload, the district had to mobilize more commune-level cadres and teachers in schools to participate in supporting. However, this force only provided additional assistance and was not allowed to access confidential and unc Irated documents.

"Before June 15, the review and synthesis of documents basically completed. When we abandon the district authorities, we must hand over all the dossiers to the competent authorities under the instructions of the Department of Home Affairs. In parallel, the District People's Committee will also urgently complete the financial work and expenditures before June 15," Thao added.

According to the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, by June 15, the State Treasury branches in the area will temporarily suspend operations. The People's Committees of districts must review and complete salary, allowance, policy, advance payment... before June 15.

At the same time, prepare a settlement and budget dossier for the first 6 months of 2025 before June 20. As for public assets, tools, office tools, etc., localities must develop a reasonable use plan to avoid waste and misuse.

According to the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, the locality currently has 180 commune-level administrative units. After the arrangement, the province is expected to have 68 new administrative units (including 7 wards and 61 communes), a reduction of 112 units (equivalent to 62.22%).

Buon Ma Thuot urban area alone has 5 wards including Buon Ma Thuot, Tan An, Tan Lap, Thanh Nhat, Ea Kao and Hoa Phu commune.
