According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, in recent times, the whole country in general and Da Nang in particular, the situation of crimes and law violations in cyberspace has tended to increase with the appearance of many sophisticated methods and tricks, causing great damage to property and causing public outrage.
In addition, illegal activities are increasingly popular such as: Online gambling, black credit, buying and selling banned substances, buying and selling personal data, psychological manipulation via phone to guide victims to perform acts of service for the purpose of appropriating the victims' money, victims' families, etc.
It is forecasted that in the coming time, the situation of cybercrime will continue to develop complicatedly. Therefore, the fight against this type of crime needs to continue to be strengthened, not only in law enforcement agencies but also in raising public awareness, helping people proactively protect their assets and personal information, the most important thing is still the awareness and sense of responsibility for preventing and combating crimes of each citizen.
