Reviewing criteria, being ready for merger, planning
On March 6, Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee chaired a conference to assess the socio-economic situation in February and deploy key tasks for March.
According to the report, in February, Lam Dong had 93 newly established enterprises with more than 487 billion VND in registered capital.
As of February, Lam Dong province has more than 14,700 operating enterprises with a total capital of nearly 180,000 billion VND.
The bright spot of Lam Dong province is the tourism industry. In February, the locality welcomed 990,000 visitors, an increase of 10% over the same period; international visitors alone had 75,000, an increase of 41.5%.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai assessed that, in addition to many achievements in general, the socio-economic situation in February still had difficulties and limitations in some sectors, and targets that needed to be resolved in March.
Mr. Tran Hong Thai directed to continue streamlining the apparatus according to the direction of the Central Government. Although still waiting for the Central criteria, Lam Dong province needs to develop a plan so that when the Central Government plans at the district and provincial levels, Lam Dong is ready to implement.
To do this important job well, according to Mr. Thai, provincial leaders must go directly to localities to immediately review the criteria and plans.
This afternoon, the Provincial Peoples Committee will establish working groups to evaluate and prepare for the Central Governments implementation, to resolve the backlog of projects, Mr. Thai directed.
Don't want to miss the deadline for 2 expressway projects
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assessed the possibility that both Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway projects will be approved in March.
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee directed departments and branches to focus on doing a good job of planning; remove obstacles in compensation and site clearance to implement these two expressway projects.
The head of Lam Dong provincial government raised the question, in the coming planning period without a district-level government, what are the mechanisms and plans for site clearance? This is extremely important, the whole system needs to have a specific plan, right now if we do not want these projects to be delayed again.
Therefore, Mr. Tran Hong Thai requested departments and branches to thoroughly handle related procedures.
"The comrades went to my room to sit, I would like to directly call any member who needed an explanation. We must work twice a day to resolve the issue immediately and have an explanatory report to the competent authority, Mr. Thai emphasized.
