On the afternoon of September 6, Mr. To Anh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - along with representatives of functional sectors and Hac Thanh ward visited Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, a worker of Thanh Hoa Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company, who is being treated at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital.
At the hospital, Mr. To Anh Dung inquired about her health and family circumstances, presented gifts and encouraged Ms. Hanh to actively treat herself to recover soon.
The Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also exchanged with leaders, doctors and nurses of Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital, requesting to continue to closely monitor the health status, care and treatment for patients.
At the same time, Mr. To Anh Dung requested Thanh Hoa Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company to pay more attention to equipping conditions to ensure labor safety for workers in the process of performing tasks.
Previously, at about 11:45 pm on September 4, while collecting garbage on Lac Long Quan street, Hac Thanh ward, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh was hit by a car traveling in the same direction.
After the accident, Ms. Hanh was taken to Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment.
Through examination, doctors diagnosed the patient with a fracture of the lower 1/3 of the left tibia, brain concussion and chest injury. The patient had a consultation, left calf cast and is currently continuing to be monitored and treated at the International Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital.
Immediately after the accident, Ms. Hanh was regularly visited and encouraged by leaders, trade unions and colleagues.
