On the morning of August 19, the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of a number of key projects and works across the country will be held online. In Hai Phong, in Tan Hung ward, two important projects are being implemented: Martyrs' Temple and Cultural Park in the western area of the city, along with the project to build a bridge over the Thai Binh River and an access road on Ring Road I.
The Thai Binh River Overpass Project has a total length of about 2.5 km, including: the overpass section on the Tan Hung Ward side is 0.437 km long, the overpass section is 0.663 km long and the overpass section on the Nam Dong Ward side connecting to Provincial Road 390C is about 1.4 km long.
The Martyrs Temple and Cultural Park project in the West of the city was built on an area of about 2.5 hectares, with many main items such as temples, bell towers, squares, monuments - reliefs, along with auxiliary works and landscapes.
The total investment of the project is 200 billion VND. The project aims to honor and show gratitude to heroic martyrs, and at the same time become a place to educate the tradition of patriotism, fostering national pride for the younger generation.
Before the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Van Quan inspected the site and directed preparations for the ceremony. The city's leaders requested units to ensure security, order, traffic safety, arrange reasonable traffic flow, carefully prepare logistics, backdrops, and lighting for live television.
At the same time, closely coordinate between the locations so that the groundbreaking ceremony can take place smoothly, creating a good mark, contributing to spreading the spirit of emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), building a dynamic, civilized and developed Hai Phong.
