I am a civil and industrial construction engineer. I was granted professional certificates by the Department of Construction of Phu Yen province (old) as follows:
Supervision of construction work: civil - grade II. Term from January 7, 2022 to January 6, 2027.
Management of construction investment projects: civil - grade II. Issued on October 13, 2022, valid until January 6, 2027.
I would like to ask: With the above certificates, am I allowed to supervise the construction of works in the field of technical infrastructure ( drainage system, water supply, leveling, internal traffic in residential areas, lighting...)?
If not, then in case I register to take the exam/consider re-issuance of a practicing certificate according to the new regulations, can I be granted a certificate of technical infrastructure construction supervision?
When applying for a grade III or grade II technical infrastructure supervision certificate, what conditions do I need to prepare regarding experience, dossiers and project certification?
After research, the Department of Economics - Construction Investment Management (Ministry of Construction) has the following opinions:
According to the provisions of Clause 18, Article 122 of Decree No. 175/2024/ND-CP dated December 30, 2024 of the Government:
Organizations and individuals granted capacity certificates and practicing certificates according to the provisions of the 2014 Construction Law before the effective date of this Decree are allowed to continue to use certificates according to the field and scope of construction activities recorded on the certificate until the expiration date.
In case a field is expanded according to the provisions of this Decree, it is applied according to the provisions of this Decree.
In case citizens have been granted a certificate of practicing supervision of civil construction work - grade II, according to the above regulations and regulations in Section 4.1 Appendix VII of Decree No. 175/2024/ND-CP, citizens are allowed to be supervisors; supervise the survey and construction of all types of works/elements of works from grade II downwards; are allowed to be construction supervisors of all types and grades of works.
