According to Decision No. 2111/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, 3.99 hectares of forest land will be converted to implement the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant expansion project (2nd time) in Hoa Binh ward and Thong Nhat ward (old Hoa Binh city area).
The area of planted forests is 3.99 hectares, which has been adjusted outside the planning of three types of forests (originally planned for protective forests).
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to direct specialized agencies to strengthen, inspect, and guide the implementation of the project according to the correct location and boundary of the forest for which the purpose of use has been changed. Preside over and advise the Provincial People's Committee to handle land-related contents to implement the project in accordance with regulations.
The People's Committees of Hoa Binh and Thong Nhat wards are responsible for inspecting and closely monitoring the project implementation process according to the correct location and boundary of the forest with changed land use purposes. Timely detect violations of the law (if any) and handle according to regulations.
The Power 1 Project Management Board is responsible for implementing the project in the correct location and area of forest use conversion; carry out other relevant procedures according to the provisions of law.
