On the morning of July 14, the People's Committee of Van An commune (old Nam Dan district), Nghe An province, said that the rescue team had found the body of Mr. Son (35 years old, from the old Vinh city) - the last missing victim in the series of accidents that caused a 5-seat car to crash into the Dao River.
According to initial information, Mr. Son's body was discovered at nearly 1:00 a.m. the same day, about 200m downstream of the river from the accident site. The body has been handed over to the family for burial.

Previously, at around 5:00 p.m. on July 13, Mr. Tran Huu Ba (37 years old, residing in Van An commune) was driving a 5-seat car carrying Mr. Son and Mr. Tran Van Trung (35 years old) on National Highway 46, in the direction of Kim Lien commune to Van An commune. When arriving at Thien Duong Bridge, the car suddenly collided with two motorbikes.
A motorbike was driven by a woman traveling in the same direction, while the other motorbike carrying four people in the family of Mr. Dau Dinh Cong (32 years old, residing in Dai Hue commune) was traveling in the opposite direction.
The accident caused Mr. Cong to die on the spot, and his wife and young child to be injured. The car continued to knock over 10m of the bridge railing and fell straight into the river, sweeping away a 9-year-old boy, Mr. Cong's son.

Immediately after the accident, people swam out to rescue and brought Ba and Trung safely to shore. At around 6:00 p.m. the same day, the authorities pulled the car out of the river. At 10pm, the child's body was found, about 10m from where the child fell.
According to the image of the dash cam from the car going in the wrong direction, the 5-seat car plunged quickly, lost control, hit two motorbikes in a row and fell into the river in the dusty lane. At the time of the incident, Thien Duong Bridge was having many vehicles passing through, nearby was a construction site.
Currently, Nghe An provincial authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of this particularly serious accident.
