At 2:00 p.m. on February 27, the investor and the construction contractor had a meeting with households on the handling plan. By 7:00 p.m. the same day, more than 10 households had unexpectedly received a notice of emergency evacuation to ensure safety.
On the night of February 27, households began to be evacuated from their homes.
"Some elderly and sick people were temporarily accommodated at Giang Vo Hotel. The remaining households were supported with 1 million VND to find temporary accommodation on the evening of February 27.
According to the residential group, there are households No. 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27b, 132, 17 who will urgently meet with local authorities and related parties on the morning of February 28", said the local residents.
Currently, people are extremely worried about the safety of their homes and their assets inside the above phenomenon.
The project investor, the Hanoi Urban Railway Project Management Board (MRB), has not yet provided further information about the incident.
