On March 17, Vinh Loc Commune Police coordinated with professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police to blockade the scene and investigate the cause of the fire that burned 4 people in Vinh Loc commune.
According to initial investigation, at about 3 am on the same day, people in the alley discovered fierce smoke and fire rising from a house in Vinh Loc commune. Many people shouted and used mini fire extinguishers to approach the scene, but the door was locked from the inside.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Region 4 (PC07 Department) coordinated with local forces to quickly arrive and deploy a fire fighting plan.

After extinguishing the fire, police discovered the 53-year-old man lying in the toilet on the ground floor with burns on his chest and both hands. The 51-year-old woman (the man's wife) and two sons, 30 and 16 years old, were also burned and are currently being treated at the hospital. Previously, they broke the window to climb out.
According to witnesses, the man had previously shown unusual signs, suspected of setting fire to cause a fire.
Representatives of Vinh Loc Commune People's Committee said that the fire did not cause significant damage. Currently, the cause is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
