On February 5, the Criminal Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police said that the unit had issued a notice to find victims in inter-provincial car tire theft cases committed by subject Doan Ngoc Khanh (23 years old, residing in Dong Nai province).
According to information from the investigating agency, Khanh did not have a stable job. Due to needing money to spend, the subject had the intention to steal property.

With the above trick, in October 2025 alone, Khanh committed 15 thefts, appropriating 16 wheels and many rim covers in localities including: Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
On the morning of October 20, Khanh was arrested by Tan An Ward Police in coordination with the Traffic Police force while on the way to escape.
Currently, the police agency has identified victims in 9 cases. There are still 6 cases, mainly occurring in Lam Dong, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City provinces, where the victims have not been identified.
