On July 6, Son La Provincial Police held a conference to summarize the work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2026. Major General Nguyen Minh Tuan - Director of the Provincial Police chaired the conference.
Over the past 6 months, Son La Provincial Police have proactively and synchronously implemented solutions to ensure security and order, maintain political stability, and serve socio-economic development.

The police force has advised and issued more than 7,200 directing documents, strengthened coordination with sectors and localities, and ensured absolute safety for many important events.
In the field of crime prevention and control, the police force discovered and handled 466 cases with 648 subjects committing drug crimes, seizing more than 14.4kg of heroin and a large quantity of synthetic drugs.
The investigating agency received 333 denunciations and reports of crimes, resolving 80%; investigated 1,037 cases with 1,567 defendants, arrested and persuaded 12 wanted subjects to surrender.
Administrative reform, digital transformation and the implementation of Project 06 continue to be promoted. Traffic accidents decreased in all three criteria compared to the same period in 2025.
Functional forces handled more than 19,100 cases of traffic safety violations, fined 35.8 billion VND.
In the first 6 months of 2026, 321 collectives and 2,238 individuals were commended at all levels for their outstanding achievements in work, combat and force building.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Minh Tuan requested the entire force to continue to resolutely fight against drug, high-tech, economic, and corruption crimes. At the same time, improve the effectiveness of state management of security and order, promote digital transformation and build a regular, elite, and modern Son La Police force.

On this occasion, 3 collectives were awarded the Government's Emulation Flag, 4 individuals received the title of Emulation Soldier of the entire People's Public Security Forces, 10 collectives and 26 individuals were awarded certificates of merit for outstanding achievements in work, combat and force building.
