
On July 25, Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong - Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police Department joined a working group of Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to directly inspect the work of overcoming flood consequences in Chieu Luu commune.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3, in recent days, many highland communes in the western part of Nghe An have suffered historic floods, causing heavy damage.
Chieu Luu commune is one of 13 communes partially isolated, along with the communes: Muong Xen, Chieu Luu, Na Loi, My Ly, Bac Ly, Keng Du, Tuong Duong, Luong Minh, Yen Hoa, Huu Khuong, Nga My, Anh Son Dong, Vinh Tuong with 8,220 households/38,036 people.
Directly present to direct the police force in Chieu Luu commune, Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department requested the Chieu Luu Commune Police as well as the working groups mobilized by the Provincial Police to support the people to coordinate with local authorities and other forces to quickly arrange and deploy forces to clean up houses and dredge mud with the motto of recovering as the water recedes.

Previously, on July 23, Nghe An Provincial Police mobilized 100 officers and soldiers to urgently be present in mountainous communes that suffered heavy consequences to help people cope with and overcome the consequences of floods.
On July 24, the Provincial Police continued to mobilize 240 more officers and soldiers of Battalion 1, Mobile Police Regiment to strengthen combat reserve for 08 communes in the province.
In addition to directly launching a campaign in vulnerable areas, accompanying people to overcome the historic flood, the Provincial Police also responded to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, organizing a launching ceremony to donate to support people, officers and soldiers affected by natural disasters. Thereby, about 2 billion VND has been raised and charity groups have been mobilized to support people in the western part of Nghe An to overcome the consequences of floods and soon stabilize their lives.
