On July 22, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), leaders of Hue City Police organized delegations to visit and give gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Long Quang, Nam Dong and Khe Tre communes.
Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of Hue City Police visited Mr. Mai Trung (born 1940, wounded soldier, resistance activist captured and imprisoned by the enemy) and Ms. Lai Thi Tam (born 1945, person with meritorious services to helping the revolution, relative of a martyr), both residing in Khe Tre commune.
Colonel Duong Van Thoan - Deputy Director of Hue City Police visited Mr. Nguyen Minh Liet (born 1940, wounded soldier, Long Quang commune) and Mr. Le Thanh Tieu (born 1946, wounded soldier, Nam Dong commune).

At the families, leaders of Hue City Police cordially inquired about their health, presented gifts of gratitude and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations in the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland; and at the same time wished the wounded soldiers and people with meritorious services to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, being role models for the younger generation to learn and follow.
Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan emphasized that the Hue City Police force always remembers the merits of previous generations, considering it as motivation for each officer and soldier to continue to strive to successfully complete the task of ensuring security and order, maintaining a peaceful life for the people.
According to leaders of Hue City Police, the work of gratitude, caring for policy families and people with meritorious services is always regularly concerned and implemented by the unit, contributing to spreading the tradition of "Gratitude", "When drinking water, remember the source" of the nation.
