On September 25, Van Mieu Commune Police (Phu Tho Province) mobilized forces to help local people harvest rice to minimize damage caused by storms and floods.

Although super typhoon No. 9 Ragasa weakened into a low pressure area, with a proactive spirit, Van Mieu Commune Police quickly grasped the situation and mobilized forces to help households, especially the elderly and disadvantaged, harvest rice and transport it to a safe place before the storm made landfall.
In addition, officers and soldiers are assigned to be on duty at 11 overflow points in the commune that are at risk of flooding, endangering people when passing through. At the same time, organize a Standing Committee, the on-duty team quickly receives information from people about the situation and incidents during storms and floods to promptly mobilize relief resources and prepare evacuation plans when necessary.
