On the morning of November 25, the working group of the Military Region 5 Command led by Colonel Nguyen Van Hoa - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region - directly inspected the landslide repair work in the Khanh Le Pass area, on National Highway 27C.
In recent days, prolonged heavy rain has caused landslides in many locations on Khanh Le Pass, causing rocks and soil to overflow onto the road, posing a potential safety risk.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command has mobilized engineering forces to handle the landslide at Km44+400, National Highway 27C.

At the scene, Colonel Nguyen Van Hoa requested the construction force to ensure absolute safety during their duties, and at the same time closely coordinate with functional units to speed up the progress of the route.
According to the Provincial Military Command, after the survey, the engineering force drilled and located, connected the amount of explosives, stuffing - compacting explosives and organized the detonation of more than 600m3 of landslides.

The detonation was carried out in accordance with technical procedures, ensuring safety for officers, soldiers and surrounding areas.
After handling the large rock and soil block, the engineering force continued to coordinate with relevant units to level and clear the road surface.
The repair work is still being urgently deployed to soon reopen the route, serving the safe traffic flow.
A day earlier, Mr. Le Huyen - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - signed a decision to declare a natural disaster emergency to repair damage to traffic infrastructure on National Highway 27C (Khanh Le Pass), National Highway 27, Provincial Road 9 (Khanh Son Pass), Provincial Road 701, Provincial Road 703, Provincial Road 707 and Ngoc Thao Bridge due to the impact of the recent historic flood.
