Lam Dong - National Highway 27C connecting Da Lat - Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) near Khanh Le Pass continues to have landslides at many points, causing traffic congestion.

On November 23, Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province, said that due to complicated weather conditions and prolonged heavy rain in recent days, National Highway 27C from Km65+800 to Km117+450 near Khanh Le Pass, the section passing through Lam Dong province continues to experience landslides, causing serious traffic disruption.

The landslide caused soil and rocks from the positive slope to fall onto the road at 33 locations with a volume of about 22,158m3.

The most serious of which was at Km65+800 near Khanh Le Pass, the volume of landslides and rocks was very large, about 12,000m3, about 100m long, about 40m wide and about 6m high, burying the entire road surface, causing traffic disruption.

At Km84+200, a landslide on the negative slope caused cracks along the road shoulder about 40m long, damaging the soft guardrail. The above location is at risk of landslides on the roadbed, causing traffic insecurity if it continues to rain.

At Km85+050, a negative slope landslide damaged the guardrail wall about 15m long. Similarly, the section Km81+500 - Km81+550 of the negative slope is about 1.5m from the road, with the risk of breaking the road surface. At Km117+450, a landslide on the slope broke the stone embankment built on the positive slope and overflowed onto the road, causing traffic disruption.

On the morning of November 23, Lam Dong Department of Construction is mobilizing construction units to focus on machinery, dividing into many teams to speed up the progress of clearing soil and rocks to soon open the route. However, due to the large amount of rock and soil, it will take at least 2 to 3 days to recover.
