At the ceremony, important decisions related to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Kien Giang province according to Resolution No. 1247/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Kien Giang province for the period 2023 - 2025 were announced.
Accordingly, based on the proposal of Kien Giang Provincial Police, the Ministry of Public Security signed a decision to dissolve Vinh Bao Ward Police and merge it into Vinh Thanh Van Ward Police. At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Police Party Committee and the Director of the Provincial Police Department agreed to resolve and issue a Decision to arrange and transfer personnel for the positions of 1 Ward Police Chief and 3 Deputy Chiefs of Vinh Thanh Van Ward Police after completing the merger of Vinh Bao Ward.
According to Kien Giang Provincial Police, these decisions not only help improve the effectiveness of management work, ensure security and order in the locality but also contribute to administrative reform and improve the quality of service to the people of Kien Giang Provincial Police.
