According to Decision No. 1486/QD-UBND of the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam (born in 1977) - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Member Council, General Director of Transerco was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Member Council of Transerco, for a term of 5 years from April 1, 2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Viet Dung - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee congratulated Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam on being trusted by the city with a new responsibility. The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that Transerco is a key enterprise, playing a core role in the field of public passenger transport in the Capital. In recent years, the Corporation has continuously innovated, improved service quality, expanded the route network, and improved transport capacity, thereby affirming its prestige, position and making positive contributions to the overall development of the city.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee expressed his belief that, in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity in traditional values nurtured through many generations of leaders of the Corporation; focus on synchronously and effectively implementing solutions to improve service quality, increase passenger volume; effectively exploit resources, promote sustainable production and business development; and at the same time promote green transformation, digital transformation according to the City's orientation and the Corporation's development roadmap.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam - Chairman of the Member Council of Transerco affirmed that he will try his best, maintain his qualities, promote his sense of responsibility, and together with the collective of the Member Council, the Board of Directors and all officials and employees of the Corporation, promote traditions, experience and achieved results, and continue to build Transerco to develop sustainably, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
