Towards the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and 20 years of the National Fatherland Festival (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), Hanoi Police in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Fire Prevention and Fighting, Rescue Vietnam and Vietnam National Drama Theater organized the play program "
The play "Forever the peace" composed by author Thien An, directed by Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu, was inspired by a real story, vividly and emotionally reflecting the image of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police soldiers - those who bravely "go in the wrong direction of peace" to rush into dangerous places, fight for their lives in the sea of fire, bringing safety to the people.
The play realistically depicts the image of firefighters: They are not superheroes, but human beings with bones and meat, also having to face the difficulties of life, very ordinary concerns. But above all is courage, sacrifice and noble service ideals. Behind each gunless battle is sweat, tears and even blood - paid with their own lives to keep the two words "safe" for the community.
The play shows the deep gratitude from the community and the whole society for the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police soldiers. They are "heroes" in everyday life - who do not need to be brightly affected but still shine in the hearts of the people with courage and dedication.
The play also shows the gratitude of artists and actors for the firefighters. For artists and actors, this is not only a role but also a responsibility, attitude, and voice of artists in the face of the hardships and dangers that the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue soldiers face every day.
The program is not only an artistic event but also has profound political and social significance, a gratitude to the People's Public Security force in general, and the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force in particular.
This is also an opportunity to spread the noble, brave and humane image of the People's Public Security soldiers - especially the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police - silent heroes in peacetime, for the peace of the community and the sustainable development of society.
The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on May 21, 2025 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi.
The event is expected to be attended by more than 1,000 delegates, including leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City Police, representatives of units of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of local police, representatives of agencies involved in fire prevention and fighting work of the Ministry of National Defense, representatives of central ministries, Hanoi cities, representatives of organizations, forces to participate in the movement of the whole people 's " mass people.
