At about 11 am on July 6, Hoa Nhon Traffic Police Station (CSGT), Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police, received an urgent request from people regarding supporting the road opening for vehicles carrying critically ill patients to Da Nang General Hospital for emergency treatment.
The victim is Mr. D. V. K, born in 1965, residing in Quang Ngai province. Mr. K suffered a traumatic brain injury, fell into a coma after the accident and was transferred by his family to Da Nang for emergency treatment.
Faced with the emergency situation, the commander of Hoa Nhon Traffic Police Station mobilized a task force including Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hai and Major Nguyen Anh Tai to use specialized motorcycles to guide the traffic.
Thanks to the timely support of the traffic police force, the patient's car traveled more than 20km, safely moving to Da Nang General Hospital in a short time. Currently, Mr. K's health is gradually stabilizing and is continuing to be monitored and treated by doctors.
Mr. L.X. N, the patient's nephew, said that the family moved Mr. K from Quang Ngai to Da Nang in a very worried mood. Due to not being familiar with the roads, while the traffic on the route was crowded, Mr. K's health condition was critical, the family asked the traffic police force for support.
The quick and dedicated support of the traffic police officers helped the family take their loved ones to the hospital in a timely and safe manner," Mr. N shared and expressed his gratitude to the working group.
Timely opening the way to take the victims to the emergency room not only shows the sense of responsibility of the Da Nang Traffic Police force in handling emergency situations, but also contributes to spreading the beautiful image of the People's Police soldier serving the people.
