On March 14, Phu Tho Provincial Police said that during the peak period of ensuring traffic order and safety from December 15, 2025 to March 12, 2026, the traffic police force in the province has strengthened patrols, inspections, and strictly handled thousands of violations.
During the above period, functional forces deployed 4,822 patrol teams with 15,386 working shifts, mobilizing 76,319 turns of officers and soldiers to participate.
Through controlling 934,127 vehicles, traffic police throughout the province have detected and handled 55,117 violations, fined more than 126.8 billion VND.
At the same time, driver's licenses were revoked for 894 cases, driver's license points were deducted for 6,288 cases and 12,398 vehicles were temporarily seized.
Notably, among the violations handled, there were 2,184 cases of carrying oversized and overloaded goods, violating the dimensions of the truck bed, with a total fine of more than 11.1 billion VND.
In addition, functional forces also handled 9,335 cases of alcohol concentration violations, fining more than 42.9 billion VND.
4,190 violations in passenger transport business activities were detected, with fines of more than 4.1 billion VND.
