Binh Thai intersection
The Binh Thai intersection project belongs to section 1 of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 2 project, from Phu Huu bridge to Vo Nguyen Giap street (formerly Hanoi Highway), with a total investment of more than VND 9,328 billion.
The intersection is designed in a complete urban area, including a steel overpass in the direction of Ring Road 2 across Vo Nguyen Giap Street and underpasses on the parallel route.

It is expected that Binh Thai intersection will start construction at the end of 2025 and be completed in 2027.
When completed, this intersection will help vehicles circulate continuously, reducing cross-section conflicts in areas that are often overloaded, especially during rush hour.
Ring Road 2 Intersection - Pham Van Dong
The Ring Road 2 - Pham Van Dong intersection is an important item in section 2 of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 2 project (more than 2.4 km long) from Vo Nguyen Giap Street to Pham Van Dong Street, with a total investment of about VND4,500 billion.
Currently, the project is in the stage of completing the construction drawing design, appraisal and contractor selection, expected to start construction at the end of December 2025 and be completed in 2027.

According to the design, the intersection has 3 floors, including underpass, overpass and a synchronous traffic surface.
The first floor has two overpasses. Bridge No. 1 consists of two branches, 6 lanes in two directions towards Ring Road 2, crossing Linh Dong, Pham Van Dong, Kha Van Can and Ngang canal streets.
Bridge No. 2 has 2 lanes, for vehicles turning left from Ring Road 2 to Pham Van Dong towards Tan Son Nhat airport.
The underpass consists of 2 lanes, serving the right turn from Pham Van Dong (to Tan Son Nhat airport) to the National Highway 1 - Go Dua intersection.
On the ground, the traffic system will be adjusted synchronously to ensure smooth and safe traffic.
In the next phase, this intersection will be supplemented with a 4-lane two-way overpass, going straight along Pham Van Dong axis.
Binh Loi and Binh Phuoc intersections
These two intersections are part of the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 13, expected to start construction at the end of 2026 and be completed in 2028.
The national highway, about 6 km long, from Binh Trieu Bridge to Vinh Binh, will be widened to 60 m.
The project will build a 3.2 km long overpass (elevated road) in the middle of the route, with a scale of 4 lanes, and a design speed of 80 km/h.
Both sides have parallel roads with 3 lanes on each side, speed of 60 km/h.

At the intersection of Binh Loi Bridge and Binh Phuoc Intersection, the city will build a two-way underpass, helping to reduce conflicts and ensure continuous traffic on National Highway 13.
Go Cong intersection
Ho Chi Minh City is also implementing site clearance to start construction of the Go Cong intersection and the branch connecting Hanoi Highway to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3.
The route connecting Tram 2 intersection ( Xa Noi road) to Go Cong intersection (Ring Road 3 - Nguyen Xien) is divided into three sections, wide from 107 to 120 m.
In the immediate future, the city will build two parallel routes with a total of 6 lanes (3 lanes on each side), the land in the middle will be reserved for future expansion.

The Go Cong intersection is designed as a 4-storey intersection, combined with a central roundabout, with branches N1, N2, N3, N4 (2 lanes each branch) and a 4-lane overpass on Ring Road 3.
The project also includes an overpass at the Le Van Viet - D1 intersection (6 lanes), an overpass on Go Cong canal (6 lanes) and an overpass on Trau Trau canal (7 lanes).
The project is expected to start construction in early 2027 and be fully completed in 2028.
