Rescuing 4 crew members on a cargo ship drifting near the coast of Quang Tri

    A cargo ship carrying 4 crew members that drifted about 100m from the coast of Hai Ninh (Quang Tri province) was promptly rescued by authorities.

    On October 27, Nhat Le Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) said that it had just coordinated with functional forces to successfully rescue 4 crew members on cargo ship ND 3464 that drifted into Hai Ninh sea (Ninh Chau commune, Quang Tri province).

    According to initial information, at around 12:00 on the same day,ND 3464 ship departed from Can Tho, carrying goods, while moving through the sea of Quang Tri, encountered an incident and drifted into an area about 100m from the coast of Hai Ninh.

    Upon receiving the news, the Border Guard, the Commune Military Command, Ninh Chau Commune Police, and the Defense Command of Area 2 - Quang Ninh urgently deployed vehicles to rescue. Up to now, all 4 crew members have been brought to shore safely.

    The ND 3464 ship is now anchored at the drifting location.
