On the morning of October 16, the leader of the People's Committee of Sen Ngu commune (Quang Tri province) confirmed that local people had just discovered a body drifting ashore in Liem Bac village.
According to initial information, at around 6am the same day, people went to the sea area and discovered the body of a man about 30-40 years old, 165-170 cm tall, wearing a white shirt (or light yellow), with gray kaki shorts. The victim did not carry any identification documents, and had 100,000 VND in his pocket.
The identity of the man has not yet been determined. The Sen Ngu commune government has coordinated with the Quang Tri Provincial Police, the commune police and Ngu Thuy Border Guard Station to carry out handling procedures according to regulations, and at the same time notify to find the victim's relatives.
