On the afternoon of October 28, the Command of the Defense of Area 3 - Tra My in coordination with the authorities and militia forces of Tra Doc commune promptly rescued citizen L.V.T, born in 1983, residing in Tra My commune.

While driving an excavator through the landslide through the dam area of Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Plant, Mr. T was unfortunately swept away by strong floodwaters and vehicles and fell into the Tranh River from an altitude of nearly 20m.

Immediately after receiving the report, forces quickly arrived, organized a search and brought the victim safely to shore. Mr. T was given initial first aid and immediately transferred by car from the Provincial Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My to the Tra My Regional Medical Center for further monitoring and treatment. According to the initial diagnosis, the victim had a broken left leg.

Authorities continue to inspect the scene and take measures to ensure safety for people and vehicles when traveling through the area in complicated flood conditions.
