    The fishing boat in distress and had to be drifting at sea was rescued by the Quang Tri Province's standing militia squadron.

    On April 1, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command confirmed that the Quang Tri Provincial standing militia squadron had just rescued a fishing boat in distress in the waters of Quang Tri.

    Previously, on the morning of March 31, a ship of the Provincial Military Navy was on duty in the sea 10 nautical miles from Con Co Island (Quang Tri Province) when it discovered a fishing boat of Quang Binh fishermen and signaled for help. At this time, there is fog and waves 2.5 to 3m high, which is very dangerous.

    The Quang Tri Province's regular militia ship approached the fishing boat QB-92659-TS to grasp the situation.

    The fishing boat captained by fisherman Luu Van Nho (born in 1977, residing in Quang Binh province) and 5 crew members while fishing at sea was caught in a net and could not move, forcing them to drift in the Con Co Island area.

    By the evening of March 31, the ship of the Quang Tri Province's regular militia squadron towed the fishing boat QB 92659-TS to a safe anchorage position on Con Co Island to fix the problem.
