At noon on August 27, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of Thanh Hoa Province Police in coordination with Kim Tan Commune Police promptly rescued a person swept away by floodwaters.
The victim was Mr. Do Van P. (residing in Thach Binh commune). Previously, while working in the fields through Kim Tan commune, Mr. P. unfortunately fell into a deeply flooded area, the water flowing rapidly caused him to be caught in a whirlwind.
At this time, police forces are deploying to support people to move out of areas cut off by floods and have discovered and quickly organized rescue.
Using a water motorbike and a rubber boat, the authorities approached in time, brought the victim safely to shore, and performed initial first aid before handing over to Kim Tan commune health station.
Mr. P.'s health has stabilized and he has been handed over to his family.
