Reaching the economic center
Last February, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, signed a decision approving the integrated component of the proposal to link economic development cooperation with the coastal provinces of the South Central region, the Central - Central Highlands and the East-West 2 economic corridor. Da Nang's goal in this decision is to become a leading socio-economic center, leading the fields of startups, innovation, tourism, trade, finance, logistics and high-tech industry.
The development strategy focuses on the formation of a dynamic region in the Central region, including coastal provinces from Thua Thien - Hue to Quang Ngai. Da Nang will develop the Lao Bao - Dong Ha - Da Nang economic corridor, connect with the East - West economic corridor and strengthen international cooperation. The completion of the Da Nang - Quang Nam - Quang Ngai - Nam Giang Border Gate corridor and the study of the Bo Y - Quang Nam - Da Nang corridor are also prioritized. The city will also promote the formation of industry clusters, focusing on tourism, seaports, shipbuilding and mechanical industry.

Removing land difficulties for projects
Da Nang is currently actively implementing Conclusion 77 of the Politburo and Resolution 170 of the National Assembly on removing difficulties and obstacles related to land for projects.
Of which, Da Nang has reviewed and identified 1,313 projects with violations that need to be adjusted, of which 554 cases have been resolved, and 759 cases are being handled. The city has classified problems into groups of problems related to legal procedures, planning and finance to have appropriate solutions. Currently, the focus is on reviewing the legal documents of projects, supplementing missing documents, and focusing on granting red books and pink books to investors according to the policies of the Government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City affirmed that the city has proactively implemented Conclusion 77 and Resolution 170. In March, the city will organize a dissemination conference in the entire political system to raise awareness of implementing these policies. At the same time, investors and businesses are requested to proactively provide documents, coordinate with authorities, propose project adjustments right from the first stage and prepare financial resources to implement the project immediately after the obstacles are removed, avoiding land waste.
Regarding the problem at Chi Lang Stadium, Mr. Chinh said that the city will complete site clearance and adjust the planning in April, then adjust the decision to develop an auction plan in the direction of converting cultural and sports facilities into commercial land.
Mr. Chinh emphasized the city's determination to completely handle problems and unlock development resources: "The viewpoint this time is to act resolutely, urgently, responsibly and basically ensure progress. The city's leaders will preside over each project very specifically. The government will do its best, for the common good and the harmonious development of the city".
