After July 1, Da Nang City has continuously had many priority policies for equipping and developing information technology infrastructure and human resources for grassroots, commune and ward authorities such as increasing youth volunteers and IT students to support commune and ward officials. The City Party Committee also has a policy for wards in lowland areas, urban areas to comprehensively connect with mountainous communes and islands in difficulty to improve the capacity to implement public administration...
In an effort to improve the capacity of the grassroots government, the People's Council of Da Nang City has just passed a resolution, strongly investing in technology infrastructure and electricity in communes and wards. At the 2nd Session (Special Session) of the 10th term held on the morning of August 12, the City People's Council approved the tasks and budget estimates of VND 15.25 billion from the regular budget in 2025 to achieve this goal.
Of which, 1.75 billion VND will be used to purchase generators for 7 mountainous communes that are often facing power outages, including: Phuoc Thanh, Lanh Ngoc, Tra Tap, Tra Tan, A Vuong, Tra Leng and Dac Pring. Each commune will be equipped with a generator worth 250 million VND, ensuring a stable power source for direction and operation, especially during the rainy and stormy season. And the remaining 13.5 billion VND will be allocated to upgrade and renovate the Lan network system for 45 other communes and wards in the area. Each unit will receive 300 million VND to invest in equipment according to the list proposed by the Department of Science and Technology.
This decision is a concrete step to continue Da Nang's consistent policy in improving capacity for grassroots levels, including increasing human resources in information technology and encouraging urban wards to support mountainous communes.
