On December 15, information from the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An signed Decision No. 2967/QD-UBND announcing a natural disaster emergency for subsidence, with a risk of serious landslides in village 57, Dac Pring commune.

According to the report, the landslide area has many large, arch-shaped cracks on the top of the hill, about 80m from the residential area. The total length of the cracks observed is about 150m, with 2-3 layers of parallel cracks appearing in some places, 15-20m apart.
The subsidence of the slide is 0.8-1.5m lower than the natural level, the cracking gap is 0.3-1.0m, some deformations are up to 1.5m.
Faced with dangerous developments, on the evening of November 20, 2025, the local government of Dac Pring commune urgently evacuated 7 households with 22 people from the area at risk of landslides. Of which, 4 households are inter-resident with relatives, 3 households are arranged temporary detention at the Commune Health Station.
The evacuation work was completed at 9:30 p.m. the same day. In addition, the landslide area is likely to indirectly affect 9 other households with 33 people.
The authorities have stretched ropes and placed warning signs, prohibiting people from passing through dangerous areas; at the same time, supporting food, and encouraging people to temporarily stabilize their lives.
The City People's Committee assigned the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dac Pring Commune - Head of the Commune Civil Defense Command to continue to closely monitor the landslide developments and proactively evacuate when there is heavy rain. Increase danger Zoning, arrange guards, and ensure safety for people and vehicles.
Along with that, promote propaganda to raise people's vigilance and proactively prevent natural disasters. Organize the implementation of handling measures to ensure absolute safety of people's lives and property.
The City Military Command, the City Police and relevant departments and branches coordinate and support localities in responding to and temporarily overcoming the subsidence situation, stabilizing people's lives and preparing plans for relocation and arranging long-term residents when necessary.
