Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Le Quang Nam signed Official Letter No. 4199/UBND-SXD on ensuring raw materials for filling soil and construction stone, especially for key and dynamic projects.
In particular, it is recommended that investors of construction investment projects using public investment capital and foreign state capital for public investment in the city follow the direction of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Quang Nam in Notice No. 141/TB-VP dated March 6, 2025.
Review, compile statistics, and report the demand for stone materials for construction works in the city to the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies and units to monitor, grasp market demand and developments, and fluctuations in construction stone material prices for construction works.
The Department of Construction continues to coordinate with construction investors to propose coordination in the spirit of appropriate progress, similarities in land types and the shortest transportation distance between works with excess land and works in need of receiving fill soil materials.
Continue to review, evaluate, and synthesize the demand for construction stone materials in the area; monitor and regularly grasp market developments, and announce construction material prices in accordance with current regulations. In case the market price fluctuates significantly beyond the handling authority, it is recommended to coordinate with relevant units to report to the competent authority on appropriate handling directions.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction, the City's Project Management Boards and relevant agencies and units to study and propose solutions to provide construction materials (land, stone, sand...) to serve the projects in the new Da Nang city after the merger; report to the City People's Committee.
The Department of Industry and Trade directs competent market management agencies to strengthen inspection, promptly detect and handle speculative and hoarding behavior, unreasonably increase prices of sand and stone materials in particular, and construction materials in general for construction; strictly handle cases of detected violations according to regulations.
