The program was jointly organized by the Da Nang City Youth Union, the City Police and the Da Nang Employment Service Center.
The program is within the framework of the implementation of the coordination program No. 6 on 3.11.2021 between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Ministry of Public Security on coordination of education, improvement of prisoners, young people in the youth age and support them to reintegrate into the community in the period of 2021–2025.
During this holiday, 40 prisoners serving their sentences at the Detention Center under Da Nang City Police will be granted amnesty and their prison sentences will be completed. This is the result of a process of labor, study and self-medication of each prisoner in the past time.
In order to encourage and congratulate the results that the brothers and sisters have achieved in the past time, the organizing committee presented 40 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to prisoners during this holiday.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Ba Duan - Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union said that at the program, the Organizing Committee will advise and orient employment for prisoners who have completed their prison sentence in 2025.
Provide prisoners with practical information such as the Party and State's policies and laws on community reintegration for those who have completed their prison sentences; career orientation; consulting on providing information on the labor market, occupations, jobs, State policies on vocational training and job creation, reliable job referral advice addresses...
"In particular, the program not only provides information about careers, job opportunities, vocational training policies but is also a place to share, accompany and motivate prisoners at the threshold of a new life," said Mr. Duan.
