On December 11, information from Da Nang City Police said that on December 10, the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environment (Economic Police Department) of Da Nang City Police said that it had just coordinated with Son Tra Ward Police, Forest Protection and Forest Protection forces to organize inspections and search for acts of encroachment on forests and wildlife in Son Tra Peninsula.

In the forest area under the management of the Da Nang Special Forests Management Board and the Son Tra Nature Reserve, the authorities discovered and removed 4 illegal hunting traps, including 2 traps, 1 cage trap and 1 rope trap.
These are all types of traps that pose a high risk of causing injury, even taking the lives of wild and rare animals.
The search activities are being implemented in parallel with the work of propaganda and reminding people to raise awareness of compliance with the law on forest protection and biodiversity conservation, thereby demonstrating the determination of the authorities in preserving the natural ecosystem, protecting Son Tra Peninsula... a special-use forest of special significance to the environment and sustainable development of Da Nang city.
