On July 30, at the 19th session of the People's Council (PC) of Da Nang City, term X, 2021-2026, the city council passed a Resolution on support policies for surplus commune-level officials, civil servants, and non-specialized workers at the commune level due to the reorganization of commune-level administrative units in Da Nang City for the period 2023 - 2025.
In addition to the regimes and policies implemented according to the Government's regulations on downsizing and other policies as prescribed by law, Da Nang City provides additional support for surplus commune-level officials, civil servants, and non-specialized workers at the commune level due to the reorganization of commune-level administrative units for the period 2023-2025 who retire from work in the city.
For commune-level officials and civil servants who retire within 12 months from the effective date of the National Assembly Standing Committee's Resolution on the reorganization of commune-level administrative units for the period 2023-2025, each month of early retirement compared to the end of the roadmap for resolving surplus commune-level officials and civil servants due to the reorganization of commune-level administrative units will receive support equivalent to 1/2 of their current monthly salary. Commune-level officials and civil servants who retire after 12 months will receive support equivalent to 1/4 of their current monthly salary.
In cases where commune-level officials and civil servants retire before the end of the roadmap for resolving surplus commune-level officials and civil servants due to the reorganization of commune-level administrative units, the number of months of support will be calculated based on the number of months of early retirement compared to the retirement date.
For non-specialized workers at the commune level with a service period of 5 years or more, each month of early retirement compared to the end of the reorganization roadmap will receive support equivalent to 1/2 of their current monthly allowance. Those with less than 5 years of service will receive support equivalent to 1/4 of their current monthly allowance.
In cases where non-specialized workers at the commune level retire before the end of the reorganization roadmap, the number of months of support will be calculated based on the number of months of early retirement compared to the retirement date.
