On March 28, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh signed a decision approving the list of 119 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who retired before the age and quit their jobs according to Decrees 178 and 67 of the Government. This is part of the effort to reorganize and streamline the administrative apparatus, aiming to improve the operational efficiency of authorities at all levels, better meeting the needs of people and businesses in the area.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is the unit with the largest number of cadres retiring before the age with 51 cases. Next is the Department of Construction with 15 cases. The Department of Home Affairs also has 7 cases of cadres retiring early.
Other departments, branches, districts and towns also have officials retiring during this period, accordingly: Department of Education and Training (1); Department of Health (4); Department of Finance (4); Department of Science and Technology (4); Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Projects of Da Nang (1); Hai Chau District (3); Thanh Khe District (2); Son Tra (7) District; Ngu Hanh Son District (4); Lien Chieu District (2); and Hoa Vang (4) District.
Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh emphasized ensuring the rights of retired officials. At the same time, it is required that departments, branches, districts and towns closely coordinate with the Department of Finance to fully implement regimes and policies in accordance with the provisions of Decrees 178 and 67 of the Government.
The Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance are assigned to review, check and adjust information to ensure the legitimate rights of cadres, avoiding errors and shortcomings that may occur during the implementation process. The streamlining of the apparatus is expected to contribute to creating a more dynamic and efficient government apparatus, better serving the socio-economic development of the city.
