The Solid Waste Incineration Power Plant Project in Khanh Son (Waste Power Plant) is located at the Khanh Son Solid Waste Treatment Complex (Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City).
According to investment registration information (after adjustment), the project has a total investment capital of VND 2,021 billion, investing in a solid waste treatment and incineration plant with a capacity of 650 tons/day and night, classifying and incinerating normal industrial waste with a capacity of 350 tons/day.
In early October 2024, the City People's Committee issued a decision on approving the local adjustment of the detailed planning TL 1/500 of the Solid Waste Incineration Power Plant project in Khanh Son, Da Nang City. The boundary of the local adjustment of the planning is limited, the Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest of the project are adjacent to Khanh Son landfill, the Northwest is adjacent to the green strip separating Hoang Van Thai Street.
The project has a total area of 93,874m2, of which the area within the environmental safety distance is determined according to the overall planning of the Khanh Son landfill area.
The master plan for land use is adjusted to suit the selected technological requirements of the plant. The main plant is located in the southwest of the project, and the secondary raw water treatment plant and landfill are located in the northeast of the project.
Arrange production service items (Leachate treatment area, general pumping room, bottom slag treatment plant, production of slag products...) and other items according to the factory operation diagram at the center of the project. And the green strip is isolated in front of the factory, adjacent to the safety corridor of Hoang Van Thai street.
